This poor child clearly has a medical condition, and it’s wrong to make fun of her. Yes, she is overweight, but you would be too if you had the same mobility issues. It’s hard to keep your weight under control is you can’t even stand up. I hope she’s getting some treatment, and if not, I hope a qualified pysician sees this video and offers to help. That would be the only excuse for parents putting this kind of video of their child on the internet.
the disorder is called maria eduarda disorder. it is a congenital defect and in my opiunion, this is the absolute wrong place for this video. it does not belong on a site where the focus is to make fun of other people’s stupidity. this is not stupidity. she is very darling and any derogatory comments made should weigh very heavily on the conscience of the one that made it. you are on the internet, so there is no excuse for not googling to find out who maria eduarda is. how do you think i found out?

She does have a bone disorder which begets a certain type of dwarf-ism. But, when your kid does something you think is funny, cute, awesome, or precious, people tend to bust out the cameras and videos then post them on youtube and make fun of them there. Able bodies. If we didn’t comment on how funny we think she was, we would be giving her special treatment…and that’s profiling…and that’s wrong.
Sad thing, she isn’t a kid. HA! She suffers from dwarfism and before mentioned bone disorder. Click on the video and go to the youtube site and listen to her sing. SHe can kick it!!!

She appears to have Achondroplasia (dwarfism), and has gotten too fat to walk. Poor kid. Allowing your children to overeat to such an extent is child neglect. If she lost a few pounds, she might be able to stand up and walk on her own…

Whoever posted this video on this site should be ashamed. No, I have never heard of her, but I could tell right away something was medically wrong. She does look happy, but to post this video on a website for laughing at people is seriously wrong.
I was a little boggled at first, but I really looked at her face and she looks older than an infant or toddler and obviously her speech is more advanced than that of a small child. I thought she was doll! She seemed very content and happy scooting around and singing. For me it was just kind of one of those things where I see it and go “huh… ok.” There are a lot of different kinds of people and I for one will not make fun of a child with an obvious disorder.

Hey everyone that is talking shit, this girl actually has a real disease. she has what I have. It is called Osteogenesis Imperfecta. It is a rare brittle bone disease. I broadcast my webcam on the internet daily on purpose of teaching people that disabilities are no different. This is a little girl enjoying herself and “running around” When I was like 2-5 I used to get ALL over my house by “walking” on my ass and could even go up and down the stairs. she is making due and moving around the only way she knows how. Though it does worry me tht she is putting herself at a lot of stress to break bones by the way she kicks her legs out.. I didn’t move quite like that .. I really looked like I walked sitting down.. lol!

That accounts for the flat facial appearance and the floppy appearance of her muscles.——from another site. so by my count, this child has atleast 5 dif. diseases and is anywhere from infant age all the way to 35 yrs old. looks like a baby or toddler with dwarfism and too obese to walk.
and if this kid had Osteogenesis Imperfecta, or “brittle bone disease”. if it was brittle bone, then that kind of activity would be a health hazard….one slip backwards and BAM! shattered skull…yup. fat dwarf.

I does qualify as a jaw-drop. It is not at all funny, but it is astounding. I don’t find it sad, either, since she is so obviously happy.
Obviously this child has something wrong with her, but the fact that she’s happy is not at all a disheartening thing. What is disheartening and a little ignorant is some of these other comments.
