  9. a noble, beautiful animal? stop smoking pot and think about how stupid damn horses are…
horses are a danger to the motorist.. look at that pic…

  11. I agree with Kim. This is so sad that the carelessness of a driver has ended a wonderful animal’s life.

  15. This picture is sad and how in the hell can you not see a horse? I

  16. missy on October 21st, 2010
  17. It doesn’t look like this happened in a pasture. If the horse didn’t want to get smeared, he should have stayed out of the road.

  18. Ugnaught on October 21st, 2010
  19. Really? The horse you feel bad for? It probably ran out AT the car and the driver COULDN’T stop! How about a little bit of concern for the HUMAN BEING involved?

  20. Karin on October 21st, 2010
  21. That poor Focus, I hope someone has the decency to repair this poor car to its original glory!!!!!!!!!!

  25. @sara How do you know what happened why assume it was the driver

  26. Ed on October 22nd, 2010
  27. @Sara

Clearly it was dark out since all the vehicles have their headlights on and it appears to have been or is raining since the road looks wet. Why did you go right to the driver as if it was his/her fault? Lets not wonder why a damn horse is in the middle of a street anyways? Lord knows horses wander the streets all the time right, you dumb bitch. I bet you’re one of those fascist animal lovers that think animals will one day rule this world again. Think again hun because as long as I have sharp teeth, I will be eating them.

  29. Not sure why this would be considered funny. It’s sad.

  31. I didnt see any put lol or anything that showed that they were laughing.

  32. Jacquelynjust on October 22nd, 2010
  33. I blame the driver.. because quite honestly… for the horse to be imbedded into the car that far… the driver had to have been speeding MAJORLY… a horse can’t run THAT fast to cause that much damage.. and a horse instinctively would have tried to jump out of the way.

  34. Beca on October 22nd, 2010
  35. Screw the idiot driver – it’s the horse that is a loss to the world, poor bugger

  36. Kitty on October 22nd, 2010
  37. Regardless of how it happened, why the hell would you throw it in the back of your car like some barbarian? If you’d hit the horse, it would have been head-on. The way the poor thing is positioned looks like it was posed to look like he jumped in the back window. And a horse wouldn’t do that, he’d be too scared. It’s one thing to accidentally hit an animal (though if you watch where you’re going you should be able to avoid it), but to throw it in the back of your car like a savage? Whoever owns the car should be the one dead inside it.

  38. Kendall on October 22nd, 2010
  39. Uh…while I agree with you Kendall, that IS the front of the car. And a horse could have jumped out in front of the car, leading to this. Yes it’s a tragedy but…you may want to check the minor details before making a post.

  41. I stand by what I said about a noble, beautiful animal. The site lists this photo under “animals, funny…” That’s what I meant. Obviously the poor thing got out from wherever he was supposed to be. Horses have a body the size of a car and the attention span of a six year old, and are very easy to startle, which is not a great combination. It didn’t work out too well for this one.

  42. Kim on October 22nd, 2010
  43. How on earth does this happen?! If I were in that car and lived to tell about it, I’d be mentally scarred for life. Not to mention develop a full-blown phobia of horses.

  44. Sean B on October 22nd, 2010
  45. lol, lol, funniest thing I have seen in a while I just hope they fix the poor car!

  46. Focusfanatic on October 22nd, 2010
  47. this is the reason why carriage horses should not be in NYC or any other places like it anymore… this horse didnt need to die like that… im really quite angry this is on this site…

  49. In this race, it’s Win, Place, and Shatter.

  50. Mike on October 23rd, 2010
  51. The moron was trying to add more horse power to his ride. He was supposed to put it UNDER the hood!

  52. Snardley McFard on October 23rd, 2010
  53. I sure hope they didnt have a passenger in the car or even a baby in the back seat

  54. gaby on October 23rd, 2010
  55. Snardly hahahaha I see wha you did there hahhaha so funny you are pretty good at being clever oh ho hahahaah cause a horse is in the car and they judge motors by horse power hahaha get it?? Omg you made my day….. Horse power when there’s a real horse in the car ahahaha hehehe tee hee

  57. I saw this picture three years ago a few months after it happened. The horse was one of the police horses that officers ride around on during patrols. The story behind it was the officer had gotten off the horse to deal with a situation, and something caused it to spook, a gunshot I believe, and run out into oncoming traffic. And as for the driver, he was speeding when he hit the horse. He got quite a list of charges after this incedent. The same charges that a person would get if you were speeding and hit a cruiser instead of the horse. As for the horse, the officer was forced to put him down with his sidearm before they could start extrication on the driver.

  58. Alberta Firefighter on October 24th, 2010
  59. Incidentally, this is from Great Britain… Which means the horse went through the DRIVER SIDE of the car, and likely either maimed or killed the driver.

    Cheerio.

  60. Again on October 25th, 2010
  61. I saw a picture of a moose that ended up inside a mini van so it is possible. It happens here in Alberta all the time with moose and deer, horses get loose and run on the roads. If conditions are bad, it could happen. It’s a tragedy and it’s horrific for both animal and driver.

  62. Hothouseflower on October 27th, 2010
  63. I feel bad for both. The driver because I know he has to be dead or serverely hurt (drunk, speeding, or not), and the animal because it IS an animal and died innocently.

  64. Just_Saying on November 9th, 2010
  65. This is freaking hilarious! The only thing that would make this any funnier is if that dumbass bitch Sara was in the passenger seat!

  66. Sicko on February 2nd, 2011
  67. Horses DO get out of their pastures and run out into the road, it happens all the time. That is why most horse owners have to carry liability insurance. Most of the time it is not the driver’s fault.
