I’m not seeing what’s so jaw dropping here. I see a bunch of girls who are friends, though one of them is smoking. Only one of them is white, and I really hope that isn’t the reason this was posted. And one black girl is holding a white baby, but perhaps that belongs to the white girl, because these people are obviously friends. I don’t see why this was posted.

It was posted because the white girl who is smoking appears to be very pregnant! And she has probably been smoking her entire pregnancy….what a horrible woman.I feel so sorry for that baby, specially since its going to have a moron like that for a mother!

YOU ALL MISS THE POINT here are 5 YOUNG women and every one of them couldn’t run the lenght of a foot ball field with out collapsing. just imagine what these women will look like in 5 years when RUNNING across the street to buy crack wil be a real challange, thank goodness there children will be able make the transactions for them after all isn’t that what there (children) good for

Oh geez…I hate secondhand smoke. And exposing it to a baby and possibly a second baby (that girl could just be fat, I’m not sure having never been pregnant)? That’s just…ugh! Wish they’d outlaw cigarettes altogether.
@ron hasty….I count four women and a small child. Also, I don’t understand how you can come to any conclusion that they are all in horrible shape or use crack…..useless you’re drawing an inference from their race. Pretty tasteless…..though must make you think you’re a better parent/person than anyone in the pic.
I wonder if the baby will even be born alive. My mom has a friend who smoked while pregnant with her second child and she miscarried. The baby was so full of tar from her smoking that she died in the womb.
Do we know she is pregnant ? Or is she just fat ?
your right there are only 4 but you could probably take ther combined over wieght and make a 5th person
but more to the point they statictly have a75% chance of living a HEALTHY life when they have this much FAT at this age
and whether they are going for crack or twinkies they PROBABLY couldn’t make a 300 yd run if they had to, worse they are the NORM for ther age group and thier children will not likly be any trimmer / healtheir ether
1. Not one of these girls is big enough to deserve those comments.
2. SO many people smoke during their pregnancy and the kids are just fine. I sure as hell wouldn’t do it.

Fat belly and pregnant belly are very different. There’s a soft, flabby look to flat bellies. Bellies that are big due to pregnancy have a hard appearance (and feel), like the way fake breasts look. That belly looks hard. Therefore she is pregnant, not fat.
OPEN YOUR EYES and try to look past the clothing/camoflouge each of these girls is at least min. 20 lb over there ideal wieght
and i’ll be willing to wager not one of them ever stay’s or gets less in wieght so for now there just FAT in the future they most likly will be OBESE or MORBIDLY OBESE. IT ALL STARTS AT 12-14 YEARS OLD and who do you think is going to pay for thier exstinsive health defects and most likly thier childrens ( o that’s right i forgot they will win the lottory and every thing will work out just fine ) ??

It’s worth noting that they recommend cutting down smoking if you get pregnant, not completely quitting, as the stress factor would affect the fetus in larger amounts than the occasional cigarette would. Get over it; if you want to change the world, go have a bunch of babies and not smoke while doing it. You’ll be making a real statement.

Anyway, beside the point…..why do you believe these young women are 12-14?? More then likely they are in their late teens. Isn’t it illegal to purchase cigarettes under the age of 18 in most states?
And I couldn’t agree that all of them are at least 20 pounds overweight, but I do appreciate your concern for their health. It’s not entirely easy to make healthier food choices when you lack the money and education. Face it, bad food is cheaper.

i corrected my self rodgertheshrubber stating there is enought fat there to make a 5th person and i still am willing to bet the LEAST WIEGHT ONE OF THEM IS OVER WIEGHT BY IS 20 LBS. what i was refering to when i refered to 12-14 is that is THE AGE when you have to GET SERIOUS ABOUT YOUR WIEGHT / HEALTH or you may/will loss the advantage of a good foundation and yes it is regretfully easier not cheaper to eat shit than real food

You’re saying we should just it’s okay to smoke while pregnant and while there is a child around? to Quote “Who cares if she’s smoking while pregnant?” While it’s not my child I would vehemently disagree with both of you. This has nothing to do with perfection or our own short comings. She is endangering the lives of the UNborn PLUS the child in arms. I guess you’re probably one of those people who thinks “O it’s not my problem let someone else fix it” well guess what, it will eventually affect you or someone you know if we can’t encourage better behaviour. If she wants to continue to do nonsense she should have used the PILL.
Actually, Fiddler, I have had 3 children. My doctor recommends QUITTING if you smoke to every patient she has.
The one on the left doesn’t appear to be pregnant to me, just fat. and I think the baby the other one is holding is far enough way that it’s not a big deal.

I think that girl is just overweight, not preggers.
She is far enough away from that baby AND outside, so I see no problem with her smoking.
What are you gonna do?Make it illegal for pregnant women to smoke?Expectant mothers do this because they’ve been smoking long before they got pregnant or they do not want to give birth to a large baby if they have a vaginal delivery.To outlaw pregnant women from smoking would have people going bonkers about the infamous slippry slope,but these same people also do’nt want to end up paying for the illnesses that will afflict these children throughout their lives,what are you gonna do?You lose either way on this one.
I am not saying I agree with someone smoking while pregnant (I don’t)but the facts are for years and years pregnant women smoked, drank alcohol/coffee,took Tylenol,ate nitrates, dyed their hair, and all the other things modern pregnant women are told not to do,and they didn’t have screwed up kids. Chances are your mother imbibed in a vice or two while carrying you!
