@bitchy the dwarf: I also bought a fish from Wal-Mart that died less than 24 hours after I had purchased it, so I flushed it and took my receipt to the courtesy counter the next day. The clerk actually gave me a hard time because I hadn’t brought the fish in. I hadn’t even thought of bringing in the damn dead fish. I got my money back though eventually, after talking to 2 other clerks. I guess they needed to prove it was really dead and I wasn’t trying to score a free fish.
I’d taken it back too, I got sick for 3 full days (almost 4) vomiting and crapping my butt off..like, almost dying from a bad case of Pabst Blue Ribbon. I only drank 3. I couldn’t eat or hold down anything at all, I’d throw up water or poop no more than like 10 minutes later.
I should have sued, I’d SO won. The same thing happen to a friend..and then to me again after drinking ONE a few weeks later.
(only 1 day this time though.)
That is a WalMart return receipt. They usually take back anything. And there is a policy that liquor can be returned to the store of purchase only. But really… that’d be a cheap way to get drunk… drink 3 and say they tasted weird so then return it and get another case of something else!
This is a walmart return. Legaly your are not allowed to return liquor. You have to take it up with the vendor. And you can take food back, but it has to be claims out. I know this cause I worked for walmart for 4 years in the customer service area. I bet the person that did this return is no longer employed…
